Cambodian jetskier grabs gold in ski modified 

Antara/Jakarta – Cambodian jetskier, Saly Ou Moeut, took home the gold medal in the ski modified event of the 2018 Asian Games at Ancol, North Jakarta, on Saturday.

Saly Ou Moeut, saw off compatriot Min Mustan and Pupakdee Nuttakorin of Thailand, in the fourth and final round of the ski modified competition on Saturday. 

Based on the accumulated points of all four rounds, Saly won the gold medal after collecting 233 points. Thai jetskiers, Teeraprateep Kasidit (180 points) and Pupakdee (173 points), grabbed silver and bronze respectively. 

Meanwhile, Indonesian jetskiers Aqsa Sutan Aswar and Muhammad Farizi, finsihed as the bottom two of nine competitors. 

Aqsa and Farizi only took part in the first round and skipped the rest because of engine problems. Farizi said the two were forced to end their journeys early because their team needed at least seven days to fix the engines.
